Jennah Berman

Jennah BermanHi! I’m Jennah. It’s nice to meet you.
My approach:
Whether you’re moving through physical pain, seeking deep rest, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself, my aim is to offer a space that is conscious, affirming, and supportive. Guided by both presence and a practical understanding of the body, I support individuals in reconnecting with their physical body, breath, and inner balance.
Each session is tailored to your needs. I will work with your body’s story blending modalities such as Swedish massage for relaxation, deep tissue massage for deeper release, and elements of myofascial or trigger point therapy when appropriate. Sessions always include check-ins around your expectations, desired pressure, and breath. You’re invited to choose from different scents and sounds that support you feeling the most grounded and at ease.
I graduated from Balance Massage School in Waterbury, Vermont, with training in a heart-centered, trauma-informed approach. My background also includes a 200-hour certification in Ayurvedic medicine, Reiki II certification, training in abdominal massage and cycle tracking, and over three years of experience in an acupuncture clinic. I value the importance of learning and am currently planning to expand my skills in orthopedic and sports massage in the near future.
I look forward to meeting you, learning your story, and holding space for you to rest, reconnect, and heal.
What massage means to me:
Our bodies tell our stories, both to ourselves and to the world around us. Just as scars, physical limitations, and body language can externally reveal things about us, internally, our bodies can communicate to us through nervous system responses like pain, fatigue and breath.
If we begin to pay attention, we notice how the body reveals itself in both subtle and profound ways. Hunger or thirst is your body asking for nourishment. Tension in your shoulders might be a sign of stress. Lower back pain could point to imbalance or strain in muscles and ligaments. These messages form a quiet but constant conversation.
A guiding aspiration through my work as a massage therapist, is to help others rediscover the comfort that comes from tuning inwards, back to the stillness, clarity and presence that can get lost or disrupted in our modern-day fast paced living. While constant overstimulation seems to be our new sense of normal, I believe massage is not only a method for relief, but a powerful form of somatic therapy that can help us to reclaim our sense of inner peace and resilience that can be misplaced or forgotten.
Healing, of any kind, is a highly individual, often nonlinear process. My own experience helps bring my sense of respect and care I share in supporting others, wherever they are in their journey.
